A Safe Work Procedure (SWP)is a procedure which describes how work is to be carried out in a safe and standardised process. SWP's outline risks, hazards and associated control measures. Safe work procedures allow workers to have the security of a safe workplace and allow managers to oversee tasks and activities in an organised and risk-free way.
All SWP's should be completed on SafetyNet where possible. If access is unavailable, staff are to complete SWP's on the Safe Work Procedure Template.
