Dean/Director Checklist

Use this checklist to ensure you have completed all the steps necessary for your staff members Competency Based Progression Application. If you are not sure how to complete any of the steps, refer to the Procedures document at Dean/DirectorProcedures.

 

  1. Read the Policy at Competency Based Progression Policy.

  2. On receipt of application:

    Check if chosen Competency Standards are required in position.

    Check relevance, validity and sufficiency of evidence supplied.

  3. If approved, sign the "Certification by Dean/Director" declaration.

    Complete the "Assessment of Competency Based Progression" Section within seven (7) days of receipt. Forward application to Personnel & Financial Services, Attention: Operations, for payment.

  4. If not approved, complete the "Assessment of Competency Based Progression" Section.

    Return the application to supervisor within seven (7) days of receipt.
