NOTICE OF ELECTION

STAFF REPRESENTATIVES FOR

GENERAL STAFF CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE &

GENERAL STAFF REVIEW COMMITTEES

The University of Wollongong (General Staff) Enterprise Agreement, 2005 provides for a number of elected staff representatives to represent general staff on various committees. Those committees include the Staff Consultative Committee and review committees for promotion and reclassification.

The General Staff Consultative Committee is a consultative forum which allows for three (3) staff representatives positions elected for a period of two years. Further detail of the role of the Consultative Committee can be found under Clause 7 of the General Staff Enterprise Agreement at: http://staff.uow.edu.au/personnel/awardagree

Following the ballot that closed on 10 April 2006, the following candidates were elected:

• Dumpleton, Dale
• Laird, Ian
• Moerkerken, Pieter

The review committees referred to above consist of a staff representative chosen by the staff member concerned from a pool of four (4) staff representative positions elected for a period of three (3) years. Following the ballot that closed on 10 April 2006, the following candidates were elected:

• Burnett, Maree
• Laird, Ian
• Moerkerken, Pieter
• Williams, Karen
