NOTICE OF ELECTION

STAFF REPRESENTATIVES FOR

ACADEMIC STAFF CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE &

ACADEMIC STAFF REVIEW COMMITTEES

The University of Wollongong (Academic Staff) Enterprise Agreement, 2005 provides for a number of elected staff representatives to represent academic staff on various committees. Those committees include the Staff Consultative Committee and review committees for promotion and probation appeals, unsatisfactory performance and misconduct.

The Academic Staff Consultative Committee is a consultative forum which allows for two (2) staff representatives positions elected for a period of two years. Further detail of the role of the Consultative Committee can be found under Clause 6 of the Academic Enterprise Agreement at: http://staff.uow.edu.au/personnel/awardagree/index.html

As 2 nominations were received for the 2 positions, the candidates below are declared elected:

• Kim Draisma 
• Ron Perrin

The review committees consist of a staff representative chosen by the staff member concerned from a pool of four (4) staff representative positions elected for a period of two (2) years. Further detail on the role of review committees can be found under Clause 44 of the Academic Enterprise Agreement at: http://staff.uow.edu.au/personnel/awardagree/index.html

As 4 nominations were received for the 4 positions, the candidates below are declared elected:

• Penny McFarlane
• Ron Perrin 
• Rodney Vickers
