Electrical Safety Guidelines


The University has developed Electrical Safety Guidelines to help minimise the risk of injury associated with the hazards involved when using electrical equipment.

The guidelines include:

  • Responsibilities
  • Management of electrical hazards
  • Testing and inspection of electrical appliances
  • Power boards and extension sets
  • Residual current devices
  • Reporting of electrical accidents
