Electrical Safety

The University has developed Electrical Safety Guidelines to help minimise the risk of injury associated with the hazards involved when using electrical equipment.

The guidelines include:

• responsibilities
• management of electrical hazards
• testing and inspection of electrical appliances
• power boards and extension sets
• residual current devices
• reporting of electrical accidents.
