Children on campus

There may be times when finding suitable childcare arrangements may be difficult or when you will be bringing your children for other arranged activities. Key safety considerations when bringing children on campus are:

  1. Children who are known to have a contagious disease should not be brought onto University grounds to prevent exposure of others to health risks.
  2. If you need to bring your children to work permission to have children in the workplace must be obtained from the relevant supervisor. It should not be a regular occurrence to alternative arrangements.
  3. To meet our WHS obligations children will not normally be permitted in hazardous areas including laboratories, workshops, art studios and other potentially hazardous areas.
