Professional Liability Protection
It is important to advise Financial Services on (02) 4221 5264 or (02) 4221 5971, of any claim notification or of a situation that may give rise to a possible claim as soon as possible.
Professional Liability Protection provides the University with insurance for legal liability to pay damages as a result of any claim or claims made against the University arising out of any negligent act, error or omission in relation to the University's professional business.
Protection is subject to certain terms, exclusions, conditions and limitations. There is a $5,000 excess under this protection which is borne by the claiming department/faculty.
Do not sign any Indemnity or 'Hold Harmless' clauses without express approval from the Legal & Commercial Unit.
