It is important to advise Finance & Insurance Officer, Financial Services on (02) 4221 5236, of any claim notification or of a situation that may give rise to a possible claim as soon as possible.
The University currently maintains a Marine Cargo Insurance Policy. This policy provides cover for goods and/or merchandise consisting principally of tertiary education equipment whether accompanied or unaccompanied at ports and whilst in marine transit.
Please refer to the Marine Cargo Insurance Policy Wording and Product Disclosure Statement for exclusions and terms and conditions.
It is important to notify the Insurance Officer of any planned transits prior to transit for record keeping purposes.
