Shared Teaching Resources Project

On 29/5/06 Professor Rob Castle announced the successful
applications in the first round of the Teaching and Learning
Fund, money derived from UOW's success in DESTs assessment
of quality teaching outcomes in 2005.
There was a strong interest in the funding, with a high number of quality
project applications being submitted from faculties and units across the University
for consideration by the Committee.
This project was the largest funded. Its purpose is
to make use of the University's Learning Content Management
System (The Learning Edge) to advance teaching through
the sharing of teaching resources.
As the project developed, the majority of activity
focusing on curriculum analysis, graduate capabilities
and accreditation rather than the sharing of teaching
resources. Less than 1/3 of the allocated funds were
expended.
The project was declared to be completed on 15th July
2008.
