eReadings
Electronic readings, or e-readings, are core reading materials in electronic format that have been selected by your lecturer. They can be accessed at any time, from any location. You can check whether e-readings are available for your subject by using the Search the Electronic Readings / Reserve Collection option on the Library Catalogue. Type in your subject code or lecturer's name to view a list of materials for your subject. You will be prompted to enter your username and password at the login screen the first time you access a reading in any one Internet session.

The Catalogue is the key for you to access the full range of materials in the Library collections including books, e-books, e-readings, print and electronic journals, newspapers, CDs, videos, and DVDs.

eBooks
Electronic books, or ebooks are electronic editions of titles covering a range of disciplines; they provide a valuable addition to your collection of resources. The ebook collection includes recent editions of titles. ebooks are accessible at any time from any location. They can be found by searching the Library Catalogue, and can be identified by the ebook symbol that appears in the format column.

Databases and Electronic Journals
Databases provide access to academic journals across a wide range of disciplines. Many databases contain full text electronic journal articles, and you can use them to search for articles on a particular topic. To locate electronic journals held by the University of Wollongong (UOW) Library, perform a Journal Title search in the Catalogue.

Resources by Faculty/Subject
Resources by Faculty/Course provide access to collections of academically relevant resources in various subject disciplines that have been recommended by your Faculty Librarian. Find relevant Internet sites and online reference materials including dictionaries, encyclopaedias, Internet search engines, guides to citation styles, and much more. The Research Edge: Evaluating Websites tutorial will assist you in using Internet resources for academic purposes.

A range of online tutorials are available to assist you in using the Library's resources. Tutorials include:
