Staff with Disabilities
The University is committed to fostering and supporting a diverse workforce and to integrating equal opportunity for people with disabilities into University policies, procedures, decisions and operations.
Staff members might commence their employment with a disability or they might acquire a disability during the period of their employment. Their disability could be temporary or permanent and may require an adjustment to their workplace and or working conditions. Please complete the Confidential Disability Form.(pdf)
Staff members and managers should refer to the Workplace Adjustment Procedures for Staff Members with a Disability, which outlines the process for making a Request for Workplace Adjustment.
Once the Request for Workplace Adjustment form has been lodged, a Workplace Adjustment Management Plan is used for the assessment, implementation and ongoing management and monitoring of the adjustments.
