We are encouraging people to put their hand up to give a 3 minute talk (using only one slide if you wish) about your research. We are interested in hearing from emerging researchers, student researchers and experienced acclaimed researchers.

Professor Wenche Ommundsen has recently assumed her role as Dean of Arts and Professor Leigh Dale has joined the Faculty of Arts in English, Literatures, Philosophy and Languages. We would like to congratulate Wenche and welcome Leigh.

'Perspectives on Sharing the Caring for the Future'

The theme this year is 'Sharing the caring for the future'. 

For the last 9 years Lisa has been focusing on corporate, community and business sustainability with Wollongong City council as Environment and Recreation Manager. Lisa has worked at Fisheries, in private consultancy and at Sydney Water as a Marine Ecologist for over 16 years. She has also worked as an Oceanographer for the Department of Defence and prepared the Environmental Briefs for the first Gulf War for the Navy.

Her work has taken her beyond Australia to Hong Kong and China.
