Eligible staff are invited to self-nominate for the Marie Lewis award.
The prize which has a value of $1,000, is awarded in honour of the late Marie Lewis. Marie, a graduate of the University worked in Student Administration between 1983 and 1997.
To be eligible, candidates must:
o be a non-academic member of staff
o be employed for at least 3 days per week
o be a member of the University or its subsidiaries, ITC, UniCentre or URAC.
o have been enrolled for at least one academic year
o be currently enrolled
o have not received the award previously
The successful candidate will be selected by the DVC (A&I) and the
Academic Registrar after considering academic performance as measured by
‘Average mark’ and ‘Contribution to the University and its students’ as
evaluated by supporting statements from the candidate's supervisor or others
as appropriate.
